I have 4 pages on a report:
Parent
Child
GrandChild
GreatGrandChild
I can drill through Parent-->Child and Child-->GrandChild and GrandChild-->GreatGrandChild.
Now I have a new page with all 4 levels on a table(no certain order) WITH a slicer on type (i.e. Parent/Child/etc).
Slicer: (Values in here are Parent,Child,GrandChild,GreatGrandChild)
Parent1
Parent2
Child1 of Parent1
Child2 of Parent1
GrandChild of Child1
GrandChild of Child2
GreatGrandChild of Child2
What I want to do, is if the slicer has "GrandChild", I want to dynamically drill through to GreatGrandChildren (and other levels as well). Thus, basically any level can be a drill through but smart enough to drill to the right level.
Hi,
If you use a button for drillthrough its possible to use conditional formatting (transparence) on diffrent buttons based on slicer selection.

Hi @EaglesTony ,
Regarding your question, Power BI does not appear to support dynamic drilling through slicers. You might be able to achieve what you need using field parameters.
The Table data is shown below:
Create field parameter.
Replace with the column name that needs to be drilled.
Final output
