Is there .NET support for PBI Desktop

I'm a newbie to PBI Desktop, but wanted to know if there is any support/resources to use PBI Desktop with .NET? For example, it appears you can only create data connectors using the M Language.  We have some .NET Core APIs that query/transform data from various locations (some on local machine, file share, etc.).  It would be nice to integrate and utilize those resources without having to use M.

In addition, I see the Run a R/Python script buttons.  Is there a way to add and execute a C# script (.CSX file) or a .NET executable.  Again, this would be extremely useful.

I'm sure there are other scenarios, but I thought I'd ask before getting to deep.  Any help is appreciated.  Thx

Hi , @testergi

I'm afraid it couldn't achieve in Power BI for now. For your requirement , you can vote for this new idea and add your comment.

No, unfortunately there are currently no ways to extend the data sources with .Net code. Your only option at the moment would be to do something like write a WebAPI REST service that called your code that you could then connect to.
