Is the data imported into PBIX file encrypted?

Nowadays the GDPR is going to take effect. I want to know about the encryption in PowerBI. Thanks.

The question is :

Is the data imported into PBIX file encrypted?

    Hi python,

    When you import the data into Power BI, the data is uploaded in the local. You should protect your sensitive data in your database. To my knowledge, the Desktop is designed as the development tool for free. Maybe you want encrypt .pbix file, you can  3rd party file encrytion tool.
