Hello all,
I have a report page as well as a bookmark page on the same power bi report. Bookmark page is accessible via a button on the report page.
Now, when user filters the date slicer on the report page, I want the date to be sliced on the bookmark page as well. So, when user clicks on the button to view other page, the data should be already sliced based on the filter on the previous page.
How to go about for this to achieve?
Help is appreciated!!!
Thanks

Hi @Greg_Deckler ,
Thanks for your quick response. My bookmark is not a separate page, its a view on the same report page. So, in reality there are two views of report on the same page. So copying and pasting will not work since it is the same page.
I guess maybe I should split the bookmark to the separate page, then it may work.
Thanks,
pthapa
@pthapa Guess I was confused by you saying you had a report page and a bookmark page. You can actually use the Selection pane and set the bookmark to only affect selected visuals. So, you could exclude the slicer from the bookmark and thus preserve the slicer setting even when going to the bookmark.
Sorry for making you confusion. I have a view that is bookmarked and the report page. So, bookmark is not a separate page, it is a view saved within the same report page.
So, I noticed one slicer can't be kept sync for both views because they are not in separate page.
In order for it to work, I belive they need to be in separate page, then the slicer can be sync together and which is my goal.
I will give that a try.
Appreciate your feedback.
Thanks,
pthapa
@pthapa Copy the slicer from the report page and paste it on the bookmark page. Should receive a prompt asking if you want to sync the slicers. If not, you can always go to the View menu and open the Sync slicers pane.
