Is it possible to have a user upload a excel file and then it populates a premade dashboard?

I want to make a standard dashboard for employees to upload an excel file which would then populate the dashboard with the metrics they need to see. Is this possible and if so how?

Hi @akinlaw1 

As for the ability to upload a file independently from service, the answer is no.

However, there are a couple of ways to provide flexibility for users:

1. Allow them to upload the file to a folder, and that folder will serve as the data source.

2. Create a basic Excel file for them, save it on SharePoint, and provide them with a link from the dashboard directly to the Excel file for updating.
