Is it possible to display selected value of a table into a text box in direct query mode?

I've been trying selectedvalue()/Max()/MIN() and nothing works on displaying the selected row into a textbox/card. Can someone help me on this.

Can you confirm if it worked in direct query mode or if there is any other way to display selected row from a table in direct query mode.
