Is it possible to disable Export option only for Slicers in power BI Desktop?

Hello All,

I have a requirement to disable the export feature only for slicers in report server/desktop.

@amitchandakCould you please help me on this issue.

In Power BI service, Desktop, Report server, there is no function available currently to hide a slicer or disable exporting slicer. If the purpose here is to print the report (or the dashboard), then we may hide the slicer edit the filter settings under report, Check: Add a filter to a Power BI report (in Editing view). 

As a workaround, if you want to  export a report, you can use report level filter or page level filter instead of slicer.

For only slicer visual , i dont think we have an option to disable export data.

if you want to disable export option for complete set of reports , in options and settings>options>current file>reporting settings>export data

we can disable endusers to not to export it.

@Anonymous , there is way you can hide export like by disabling target on each visual level and at report level. But all this work more with power bi service. Desktop is developer to it can be enabled
