Is it possible to apply specific text formatting to specific text pulled from a cell?

Hello

 

An excel file is loaded to Power BI and a particular cell contains several lines of text. This is then put into the dashboard.

 

Is it possible to apply specific text formatting like bold/italics to specific parts of that text?

No you can't format a substring like that.
