Is Measure / DAX function available in Power BI online version?
Hi It is not possible to edit the data model (read create calculated columns and measures) within the Power BI Service. You have to use the Desktop or Excel or Visual Studio locally.

Thank you. Since I'm using Mac, does it mean I can only use Excel to do the Measure then create the data set and do the dashboard in Power BI online?

Thanks for the link. I did read this article before and since my Mac uses Apple processor, there's no boot camp in my machine. I guess I can only go for option 1 or 2 mentioned in the article.

Unfortunately, yes. Your options are limited.

As far as i know, the MS Excel version on the Mac does not support the PowerPivot so you will not be able to write DAX measures.
