There are multiple ways to accomplish this. The safest would be to add another category level.

I use the ProfitBase visual to add custom subtotals.

@lbendlin Adding another category level can be done in PowerQuery, right? I would add a conditional column that defines the 3 subcategories as a single category?
correct. you can also do that in DAX if you want, or via Groups.
