Hello,
I am creating a list of all the dashboards or reports that we create and share. Right now I am planning on doing it in an Excel file on Sharepoint. But is there a tool or a method that you have used and would like to share with me?
I want to capture a few aspects about each dashboard such as name, status (active or in progress etc.), refresh frequency, last refresh date, next refresh date, launch date, data contact, business contact, developer, etc.
Any suggestion or help will be greatly appreciated.
Note sure if where this post fits but posting it here. Also couldn't find a relevant post.

I ended up using Microsoft List to create a BI Asset Management. Sharing a screenshot of the columns that I used.
Ping me if you need assistance with it.

Hi @rishtinz ,
Did the reply offered help you solve the problem, if it helps, you can consider to accept it as a solution so that more user can refer to, or if you have other problems, you can offer some information so that can provide more suggestion for you.
Best regards,
Lucy Chen
I use scanner API enriched with info from log analytics for query and refresh times and CPU usages etc
Rui has a example process and report for the scanner api https://github.com/RuiRomano/pbiscanner
Thanks Deku, I am not looking to scan the assets within a Power BI report. I am actually looking for a method to document all the reports, dashboards, datasets that our organization work on. The purpose of this is to make it easy for everyone to keep track of all the in-production reports and maintain it.
I don't think an automated process could work here. I'd prefer it to be manual so I can add or remove projects/products and edit their properties.
I am currently working on using Microsoft List to develop my own asset management inventory. Will share the skeleton once it takes a shape. But if there's a better solution, i'll be happy to know.
and @Anonymous I will accept a response as a solution if I find it that way. thanks.
