Invalid Remote Certificate

Hi all,

On one server we run multiple PostgreSQL databases. Yesterday I was informed by one customer, that it is not possible to connect to one of the reports due to an error caused by a remote certificate. I did some testing and it turns out that all the databases, except for one do not work. The settings however are the same. The only difference seems to be that the last time I touched the other reports was a month ago, while this one is almost daily developed.

I got in touch with our server guy assured me that the latest certificate is installed and he has no idea what could be causing it (unless power bi somehow cashes the old certificate and uses it instead of the new one...)?

Does anyone have experience with this?

Thanks,

David

So, I did clear all global permissions, tried to downgrade the PBI version etc. nothing helped.

Today we solved it. In the end, the problem was on our server, where apparently there are two Certificates, one in front of the balancer and one behind the balancer, we had to update both of them, not just the one that we regularly update...

HI @zenisekd,

AFAIK, power bi will save the user credentials to the local device.

Did the user change the current user credentials or clean up the local caches? They may affect the stored user credentials and can not match the remote data source.
