Internal Server Error (500)
Hi there,
Today I created a new Workspace and uploaded 3 Report (200-300 MB each) in that Workspace ('large datasets' and PBI Premium per User activated). No problem.
Then, the 4th file cannot be uploaded due to the 'famous' Internal Server Error (500). Even, if I go to the PBI Service and I want to 'upload' this file from my computer, it won't be accepted. Other files will be accepted. The file is not corrupt, had a proper dataset etc. The workspace has sufficient 'space'. Sharepoint the same situation: other are accepted for uploading, this specific file not.
What can it be?
Please help me out.

Anonymous since the error is specific to a file, it could be corrupt. It must be something to do with the file.

Hi There,
Even we are also facing Internal Server Error (500) while publishing any report to the Power BI Service.
If anyone has solution for the same, please suggest something to mitigate the same.

Hi Anonymous ,
Based on my research, simliar issue has been submited internally(ICM: 212246346), if there is any progress, I would update here as soon as possible.
You can also try this workaround which someone has done it successfully:
" I managed to fix by exporting it as a PowerBI template (file menu - export) and then reimporting it again which puts it into a blank pbix file. It then was able to re-publish successfully."
Refer: (500) Internal server error appears after the publishing process
In addition, if it is urgent for you and the above workaround could not help you, I would suggest you to create a support ticket here for faster help.
