Intermediate table (with combined PKs) relationships don't work in Power BI?

I am trying to get an intermediate table to work, to no avail. To check it, I created a query in Access and it worked just fine. Tables come out of SQL Server in Azure. Does anyone have any insight into this? Is this not a supported feature in PBI?

Power BI .pbix is a Tabular/PowerPivot model internally. Composite Keys are not supported. See: Relationships (SSAS Tabular)

General workaround is concatenating multiple key columns into single column:

Thank you for explaining this to me, this is really important to know. Because we use PBI extensively, I will redesign my tables to keep one PK, and have two or more fields of FKs. I'm glad I discovered this sooner rather than later.

Have you tried making the links bi-directional?
