I have a column chart and line chart with markers (shapes), both of which used the same measure but with different axes. Modifications to the column chart included conditional formatting for negative and positive values (red and green). Using the Format Painter, I copied the formatting of the column chart to the line chart. Although the line chart does not have the option for conditional formatting, the Shapes of the line chart now show in red/green based on their negative or positive values!
I later found this blog posting about using the Legend field for line coloring, but the above marker coloring gives a nice effect when you have both positive and negative values in the chart.
