Installation of power bi on server machine

I am going to install power bi on windows server /  server machine .. is there any different to install it or same way like we install in our local desktop

and what is power bi report server ?

Not really any difference. If the server OS is the same code base as Windows 10 you can use the store. Otherwise just use the MSI file.

Power BI Report Server is essentially SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) with Power BI functionality built in. Consider it an upgraded SSRS.

whereas we arelady able to publish our dashboard into web and create link from that .. publish to web option in power bi

Well, the use of Power BI Report Server (PBRS) is for those organizations that desire to keep their data entirely on-premises and hate the cloud and anything that even remotely resembles the cloud.

I could elaborate but that's the gist of it. If you do not have an irrational hatred of the cloud, you can ignore PBRS. PBRS is a severely stripped down version of a few things you get in the Service so that you can kind of share reports with people while keeping everything on-premises. That's it.
