Infinity Value in Cumulative Efficiency Measure

Hi Pros,

In my dataset, I have two measures: "Hours Sold" and "Hours Worked." I have calculated the cumulative efficiency measure by dividing "Hours Sold" by "Hours Worked." However, I have noticed that some cells in the cumulative efficiency column are empty, resulting in infinite values being displayed in my report.

My objective is to find an effective approach to handle these empty cells and display them as zeros in the report. I have attempted to use the IF and ISBLANK functions within the measure formula, but I haven't achieved the desired results.

Thanks in Advance

  • you are most likely using the /  in a last measure! which is why you have an infinite .

    you need to use DIVIDE

    Measure =  DIVIDE([Absenteeism],[Gap in date],0)
