Hi Anonymous ,

As far as I know, the better workaround is to use table visual to do it like your mentioned. Seems that there would not be a comfortable custom visual to achieve it based on my search in the marketplace.

 

If you must need to use a custom visual, perhaps you can submit the requirement to ideas and add your comments there to make this feature coming sooner: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas
