Hi Guys
I am using Incremental Refresh on my Date which is super large (2GB). Everything went very very slow. The dataset in Power BI service (web) got updated. Here are the time slots I set
Whole data: 01-01-2020 to 15-08-2023 (2GB size data)
RangeStart: 01-08-2023 00:00:00
RangeEnd: 15-08-2023 00:00:00
I set the incremental refresh to keep the 1 year to archive the data and 30 days to refresh. I made the RangeStart and RangeEnd short to make the updates quicker. Is that a problem?
I got one question here in my Power BI Desktop. Since RangeStart and RangeEnd were used in the filters to fold my datasets, I got really small folded dataset in my Desktop Verson. It is impossible to make data analysis. Can I delete the filters (not the parameters) in Power BI Desktop to release all data? I need to use at least 1.5 years' data to make data models.
If anyone got the same quesion and help me out of the situation.
Thanks
I advise you to create RangeStart and RangeEnd bit wide instead of making very tight!
