In Direct query mode saphana connection encryption is not supported

Hi experts,

At work we use SAP HANA (all our information is encrypted). Recently I've been asked to use DirectQuery with SAP HANA, so I extracted an cube of information from SAP with the Direct Query option, neverthless I got the following alert: "In Direct Query mode "SapHana" connection encryption is not supported. Disable encryption for this database or switch to import mode", but I can't not encrypt the information I'm using. Is there a way to use SAP HANA with Direct Query with encrypted information???

Hi @Smackcat ,

As far as I know, Power BI support us to connect to SAP HANA by Direct Query connection mode.

SAP no longer supports the OpenSSL, and as a result, Microsoft also has discontinued its support. Use CommonCryptoLib instead.

Please make sure you have enabled encryption for SAP HANA and have got the certificate signed.
