Import the data of VSTS query to an existing Power BI file

Hi Everyone,

When I had a try to click "open in Power BI" to import the data of VSTS query to Power BI, it always opened a new Power BI file to show. However, I need to import the data to an existing Power BI file.

Otherwises, can two or more VSTS queries be imported to  Power BI? Power BI can't  do some difficult data processing which we need, so we have to do this in VSTS.

Can you please assist me or give me some advices? Thanks a lot!

Best Regards

If you are mentioning  Open in Power BI, you could try to contact the publisher and send your feedback.

Hi Eric,

Thanks for your reply!

After searching, I think maybe "Import data from a wed page" can also meet my demand.

I can get the query URL from VSTS and Power BI can get data from web by URL.

However, the result of try is not as expected. The result of query can't be found in Power BI. Can Power BI be connected to VSTS query by copying URL directly?

I don't exactly know what is a VSTS query, as to VSTS and PBI integration, you could see this blog Connecting Power BI to your Visual Studio Team Services Account
