Import Data but the data header from another data table

Hi there,

I would like to import a CSV file which have 90 Cols but it does not have the header. Instead of manual update the header one by one, I would like to map it via another table created in the Power BI. May I have some tips or hints how I can transfer it?

Thank you, Ken

Hi,

try this, from the mapping table:

  1. Sort ascending on original column
  2. Transpose
  3. Remove top row (1) to remove original column row
  4. Append query (table with data)
  5. Use first row as header

If I answered your question, please mark my post as solution, Appreciate your Kudos 👍

Thank you for your idea.

I am curious any other way to handle this problem incase the header is not in expected sequence
