Ignore/off RLS security on one Page/ visual of the report

Hi,

We have a report with 4 tabs . We have a requirment to implemented RLS only on single visual(table visual) in the last page of the report.  The logged in user can only see their correspodning country level data, however few users need to see all department data on all the country (star access). We have user table with email addres and country details that filters out the Country.  Can this filter applied to only a particual Visual at individual page level to get the desired results.

Ex: User sam belongs to Country India and with current RLS setup he can only see India data on all the 4 tabs, can we ignore this filter on 3 pages and restrict the data for single table visual.

when you apply RLS, data will automatically get filtered according to the Row level restricted places. You can't restict access to one page as RLS is applied on the dataset.

However, there are cases where we may need to over write RLS in such cases you can either create seperate tables if possible. Else best thing would be to create a measure that is not impacted by RLS.

Below are some links which can help you:

Please hit the thumbs up and mark it as a solution if this solves your question. Thanks.
