i have the following problem. i have a table that defines regions and their structure for the european countries there is another regions category for all other regions not
i would like to have a hierarchical filter that ignores blanks. Unfortunately, when i try to ignore the blanks, the region levels beyond them disappearThere is the filter visual from xViz but it requires a pro version.
Are there any other possibilities. I would have thought of parent child hierarchy but how would that work in my case?
Hi , @ys034
According to your description, you want to ignore the blank in the hierarchy slicer.
If you want to directly delete all levels after blank appears, you can directly use "Hide Members" in Custom Visual--"Hierarchy Slicer":
If you just want to ignore the null value but still want to display the lower levels, and your null value does not appear at the bottom level, then it is currently impossible to delete the null value directly, we can only change the null value to "" :
