IF function based on a slicer

Hi,

I would like to know how to go about adding a card that would change depending on the single selection on the slicer?

For example: If Apple is selected in the slicer - this card would say FRUIT.

Seems to be very simple but I'm so new to Power BI.

Thank you,

If you have the selectable items used in slicer in Table[Column]:

MeasureToUseInCard=

SWITCH(SELECTEDVALUE('Table'[Column]),

"Apple", "Fruit",

"Banana, "Fruit",

"Iphone", "Phone",

"No value selected" )

The next step could be to store the values to show in the table as well:

MeasureToUseInCard =

SELECTEDVALUE('Table'[Group], "No value selected)

Thanks a lot! @Anonymous  I will use this for some of my other cards. For some reason, when I filtered through my slicers, the right equivalent text showed up on the card.
