I changed Power BI data from excel to SharePoint list

Hi

When I refresh the the data in Power BI, it refreshes the Excel sheet instead of SharePoint list. If I try to delete the Excel sheet, the entire report crashes. How can I change this so that when refreshed in Power BI it only refreshes the SharePoint list.

By default, Power BI updates model information from OneDrive and SharePoint on an hourly basis. If you want these updates to occur manually, you can disable automatic OneDrive refresh in the semantic model settings. Open the semantic model settings, expand the OneDrive refresh section, and set the toggle to Off.

When you moved your data to the SharePoint list, did you change your connection string in Power Query so that it is looking at the list instead?
