This message is show is shown in my screen everytime I try to update my data, the sources are from an excel file

I think the excel file may need to be reconnected.
Go to "transform data" --> "data source setting". Check the connection or rebuild the connection.
If you are using SharePoint, i suggest you go to the file location and select the file (dont open it). When you select the file, you can see a "details" pane open. In here, there is a path. Copy that and go to powerBI. In data source, replace the excel path with this SharePoint path and you can ensure file is updated even when your laptop/desktop is switched off. Ofcourse, you need to schedule refresh in PowerBI service
