Please go to File->Options and Settings -> Options -> Preview Features and disable the "Power BI Desktop Infrastructure Update" feature switch. That should stop using WebView2.
If you cannot get to the Options due to app not launching, you can set the following environment variable to disable the feature for now:
Environment Variable : "PBI_enableWebView2Preview" Value: "0"
Referencing: Solved: Cannot invoke on WebView2 Web Browser in its current state

I am having issues with my Power BI desktop, I don’t know if there is something I can do or not doing right have reported it but it’s still showing this way I deleted the one I had and downloaded another one, it’s the same issue
