How to use month slicer to show all years up to that year?

I have a report that uses month slicer. Slicer filters all the visuals on the page. However, there is one visual that shows data by year. Right now I have turn off filtering from month slicer to this visual by editing interactivity. However, ideal solution is to show all the years up the year of the month in the slicer. If I switch the interactivy on, the visual just shows one data point for that month. Here is the screen show of the report.

@tvaishnav , You need the slicer on an independent table, From there you will get month no nad use that

//Date1 is independent Date table, Date is joined with Table
new measure =
var _max = maxx(allselected(Date1),Date1[Month])
return
calculate( sum(Table[Value]), filter('Date', 'Date'[Month] =_max))
