How to use filter to select Many to one

Hi,

Below are the tables and relationship. They contain sample data and any help would be much appreciated.

1. [fact_Transaction]

2. [dim_transaction_Policy]

3. [dim_Policy]

4. What I would like to achieve is - when user click a Policy (or multiple), below table will show the relevant Transaction record(s)

5. The relationship in Model is as below. I think might have some issues, as it doesn't behave as I expect.

Thank you in advance

Hi @spagad6263 ,

Yes, it's the easiest way.

Prior to this, the desired effect could not be obtained because the cross-filtering relationship between [fact_Transaction] table and [dim_Policy] table was unidirectional.

With the current relationship, if I select an item in the slicer (dim_Policy), the table (fact_Transaction) doesn't change correspondingly.

I have to change the relationship to both directions between the fact table and the intermediate table. It seems working now, but I am not sure if this is the correct approach. Thanks
