I am currently pulling data from SSAS cube in PowerBI desktop. After checking out the data modeling in "Model" page of PowerBI desktop I realized that few tables are hidden. Few of these tables help me to pull in the desired data. Also, these tables connect with other tables but since they are hidden the data relationship gets lost. I tried to unhide them but I do not really see any option that can help me do that.
Can you please let me know if there is any way to unhide such tables or should it be done by SSAS administrator?
This is how they appear:
Hi @nash_s ,
If your connection mode is live connection, you have no way to unhide tables. You can try to connect to SSAS in import connection mode, which may unhide the table.
Otherwise, you can only contact your SSAS administrator to unhide in SSAS.
This is because the connection mode of live connection is to connect to a data model, not just data.
You cannot create a relationship between a hidden table and a non-hidden table.

Thank you so much. I have connected to SSAS cube in import mode but still the tables are hidden 😞 I think I will have to contact SSAS administrator to help me with this.
That would be a question for the person owning the SSAS cube, no?
If the team owning the cube is not willing to unhide the cube then is it possible to set relationship with the fields in the hidden table using PowerBI?
