How to total the same number of date counts in a row

Hi

I have some sales at different times of the day and I count each sale on that day as one.

Is there a function which will sum up the counts for each day.

So instead of 1 for each day I want to see for example a total on each row column of 5 or 6 or however many sales I did on that day instead of just seeing 1 for different times of that day.

Thanks,

@Anonymous ,

try this as a table,

Salescount =
VAR _date =
    ADDCOLUMNS (
        'Time Sales',
        "NewDate",
            DATEVALUE (
                DATE ( YEAR ( 'Time Sales'[Date Time] ), MONTH ( 'Time Sales'[Date Time] ) , DAY ( 'Time Sales'[Date Time] ) )
            )
    )
VAR _result =
    SUMMARIZE ( _date, [NewDate], "Countofsales", COUNT ( 'Time Sales'[Sales] ) )
RETURN
    _result

Thanks,

@Anonymous ,

Did you tried to convert the data type of the datetime column into date?

Thanks,
