Hi all-
I am new to Power BI - hoping someone can help. I have race/ethnicity data for some people in my organization that is multi-select. I have also added a conditional column: race_categorized where if there is a semicolon, enter "multiracial." Otherwise if they entered Asian, enter Asian. If they entered Indigenous, enter Indigenous, etc. I want to display two cards on a dashboard that show Percent White and Percent Person of Color (POC).
ID | Race | race_categorized |
1 | White | White |
2 | Indigenous | Indigenous |
3 | Black; Asian | Multiracial |
4 | Asian | Asian |
5 | Asian | Asian |
6 | Prefer not to answer | Prefer not to answer |
7 | White; Indidenous | Multiracial |
8 | White | White |
9 | White | White |

12 | Black; Middle Eastern | Multiracial |
13 | Pacific Islander | Pacific Islander |
14 | White | White |
15 | Prefer not to answer | Prefer not to answer |

17 | White | White |
18 | White | White |
19 | White | White |
20 | White; Pacific Islander | Multiracial |
21 | Asian; Indigenous; White | Multiracial |
22 | Middle Eastern | Middle Eastern |
23 | White | White |
24 | Black | Black |
25 | Prefer not to answer | Prefer not to answer |
26 | White | White |

The % white card should display: out of the people who answered (remove blanks and "Prefer not to answer"), __% identified as only white. In my sample data here it should be 37.5%.
The % POC card should display: out of the people who answered (remove blanks and "Prefer not to answer"), __% identified as anything else. In my sample data here it should be 62.5%.
I can't figure out how to get the card visual to display what I want. How can I do this? Thank you for any insight!
