Hi,
I am new to PowerBi so apologies for this probably very simple question but I have been struggling for hours how to make this work, hoping someone can assist.
I have a Data Source table with User ID, Licenses and Environment (User ID may have many Licenses, which may apply to many Environments). I am trying to show in Power BI what would be insanely simple with a pivot table in excel but I cannot for the life of me figure out how.
I would like a table in Power Bi that has User ID on the left and Count of Licenses on the left. Examples below.
Source Table
UserID | License | Environment |
User-1 | Type A | Environment 1 |
User-1 | Type A | Environment 2 |
User-1 | Type C | Environment 3 |
User-2 | Type B | Environment 3 |
User-3 | Type A | Environment 1 |
Objective Power Bi table
UserID | Count of License |
User-1 | 3 |
User-2 | 1 |
User-3 | 1 |
Assistance greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!
