until now it's not supported in Power BI Desktop.

Possible Solution: In the PowerBI report tab, rename the text and then press the Windows key and ; key, then type the word circle, you can then choose from 9 circle colours (like this 🟢🔴). Choose the required circle, then delete the word circle if required from the tab.

Doesn't that mean it's been added as a feature?
