How to set a default date slicer value when publish to the service

Hi everyone,

I created Date slicer with the method in the following link: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/custom-range-date-slicer-power-bi-dynamic-defaults-more-a%C5%9F%C4%B1...

And I got a slicer like this:

Then I publish the report to the service.

I want to make the slicer set to 'yesterday' every time I reopen it in the service.

But right now, for example, if I select 'This Month' in the service, the next time when I reopen the report in the workspace, the date slicer still shows the 'This Month' rather than 'Yesterday'.

Is there any way to make the 'Yesterday' group as default whenever I open it in the service?

@Lexixl , Ideally if the report is saved yesterday and you reset it, it should open on yesterday.

Hi @Lexixl ,

What you said is not that there is a problem. When you save a pbix file, it saves the last option of your slicer.

The best way to achieve this is to make sure select the slicer option to 'Yesterday' every time you save&close the pbix.

Best Regards,

Stephen Tao
