How to select particular time limit

Hello,

How can I make a filter (Slicer) with particular time limit.

In my data I have a column with time as data form as shown in below I have columns Date,Time and quantity.

Data in time column lies in between (00:00-24:00) 24 hours. We in our orginasation work in three shifts

A shift : 6:00-14:00

B shift : 14:00-22:00

C shift 22:00-6:00

I prepared a line graph to analyse the data. I want to analyse the data from A shift (6:00 O'clock) to C shift (untill next day 6:00 O'clock). For example from Monday 6:00 O'clock to next day tuesday morning 6:00 O'clock.

So, to analyse this I made a slicer/filter to select particular date and slicer for particular time limit as shown in figure below.

Capture 2.PNG

The slicer I prepared using time column is showing all the times existed in that column. In this particular time column I have data recorded every minute. By this I am facing problem to select all time limits existed between 6:00 to next day 6:00. But I want to make a slicer with time frequency around 1 hour (6:00,7:00,8:00.....22:00,23:00,00:00...) where I can easily select particular time limit.

I would appreiciate for your leads.

Thanks in adavance.

Hi @The8 ,

What do you mean by connecting Time to Date and quantity? Do you want to continue filtering Date and Quantity while filtering Time? If so you might consider adding slicers to them or using filters. if I misunderstood, please provide more details to help me better understand your question

Hi @The8 ,

Please try:

Add a new column:

Time For Slicer = TIME(HOUR([Time]),0,0)

Then use the column to create a slcier

Final output:

Hello,

Thank you for your response. I can add new column with time silcer but I have to connect this added time column with other coulmns of the data (Date, Quantity ).

How to overcome this issue?
