Hi,
i am facing a problem with the user principal.
In our company we have a multi-tenant environment.
So back ago I started creating a report with tenant #1. Then I had to switch to tenant #2 and develop the pbix file further.
When I included a measure showing the userprincipalname() I saw that the user of tenant #1 is still showing as being active despite me being logged in with tenant#2.
That brings a lot of trouble regarding connecting to tenant#2 workspaces, RLS testing and so on.
Do you have any idea how to reset the userprincipalname within this .pbix file. The report is quite big (>60 pages) and copy pasting all the visuals and reseting all pager filters etc. to a fresh .pbix file seems to be "wrong" way.
Thanks in advance!
Hi @pbiXlsx,
What type of data source are you work? If you are working with AS data source, you can take a look at the following link to use the UPN mapping feature to handle your scenario:
Manage your data source - Analysis Services - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
