How to replace dataset without changing report URL

Hello everyone.

Could you please give me advice?
I've got a report published using Analysis Services Live Connection.
I want to change it to import without changing report URL, so I created a new report with import and renamed PBIX same as the exisitng published report of LC and then published it to Service.
But got an error saying try later or raize a support ticket.

I think, it will be resolved with PQ code.

Any idea please?

Hi @PbiCeo 

API could do this.  You can refer to the official document :

But please note that:

Important:

• The original datasource and the new datasource must have the exact same schema.
• For cached models, the dataset must be refreshed to get the data from the new data sources. If you're not using enhanced dataset metadata, wait 30 minutes for the update datasources operation to complete before refreshing.
