How to replace Dashboard data source if data source is a folder of excel sheets?

Currently i have a old dashboard with visuals and an outdated datasheet matched to it. I have to update it and normally i would go to "data source settings" to replace it - however currently the newest data source is a bunch of excel sheets inside a folder. So far, i have merged/entered the data as a folder into the dashboard however the visual filters/sources are still selected on the old datasheet.

Is there a way to swap the sources assuming the databoxes/selectors on the right hand side are the exact same name/title? I tried using "data source settings" however, it would only let me select a file instead of a folder. Perhaps a way on query editor?
