How to rename Legend values for a Visual

I have  a line chart and have a column which is added as Legend. I would like to rename the Legend values something more meaningful in the visual. How can I do it? For example when I add my column ID  in Legend Field in Line chart. I get

ID
UU272652
22577IIU

I would like to replace these two values of ID as
ID
Rate by Speed
Rate By Distance.

How can I do it?

Hi @PowerrrBrrr ,

You can create a new table as follows.

Then create a relationship between two tables.

Then you can replace the Legend field in the original view with the new one.

@PowerrrBrrr

You cannot rename in the visual, What you can do is to add another column in the table with the required names that need to show up in the visual then add it as a legend.

You can also add it in Power Query using Add conditional Column
