So I have been following this youtube video.
And I have also followed this youtube video.
But with both the datasets I am running into an issue with Y-axis, I don't know what I am doing wrong as I followed the exact same steps as in the video.
Whenever I add a data field that is supposed to be added to Y-axis it gets added to the legend.
When I drag it to Y-axis or Select move to Y-axis it changes to SUM and then I went ahead and changed the column's summarization setting to dont summarize.
But it still doesn't solve the issue as the same thing happens but this time it doesn't SUM it up, it COUNTS it.
And I click the drop down and I don't see a don't summarize option.
I was trying to learn Power BI but this issue has made me skip learning Power BI.
I have tried almost all the solutions provided in the forums.
And I thought maybe it was my system's issue, so I tried on another as well. the same thing happened.
Is there anything I can do?

Hi , @Bhawana_Sharma
Thanks for your quick reponse!
This is the video screenshot, you can see the value is 0-400. This is just the sum of the [Price].
We can see the data in a table visual to test :
So actually this video is actually the sum of the [Price]. And the name of this field we can just double click to replace to anything you want :
We don’t need to pay too much attention to the field names next to it, what we need to pay attention to is the data itself and the display of the data.
Thank you for your time and sharing, and thank you for your support and understanding of PowerBI!

Hello @Bhawana_Sharma Can you share your demo data set in-order to get a better understanding.
Thanks you.
Hi , @Bhawana_Sharma
According to your description, you want to make the [Price] summarization to "SUM" instead of the "Count".
I test it in my side , it work good. As in your screenshot , i see that the [Price] field seems to be a "Text" type field .
That's why it can't sum, only numbers and decimals can use SUM.
So , you can try to check the field type in Power BI Desktop first:
If this method does not meet your needs, you can provide us with your special sample pbix file, so that we can better help you solve the problem. (You can also upload you sample .pbix [without sensitive data] to the OneDrive and share with the OneDrive link to me ! )
Thank you for your time and sharing, and thank you for your support and understanding of PowerBI!

Hi @v-yueyunzh-msft ,
Thanks for replying but I don't want the Price to be summed up..
I don't want the data to be aggregated at all.
This is how I want it to be
Screenshot from the YouTube video I was trying to follow
Hello @Bhawana_Sharma ,
Can you please right click on the Price column in the visualizations pane and click on the don't summarize option?
Kindly let me know if you are facing any issue.
