How to query documents held in a library in Dynamics 365 (online)

Hi All,

A daft question perhaps, but can anyone explain to me how you connect a PowerBI report to query the contents of an excel file held in a library within Dynamics 365 (online), please?

I have the API URL, but this gives me the Dynamics tables, not the document libraries, etc.

I have never connected to Dynamics files before. Try open the Excel, in a normal situation it should ask you to open in Desktop app (Don't download, just open) go to file and under recent you should see a list of recently opened files. hover over the current file and right click and click copy path to clipboard. Using the web connector, paste the copied url , but remove this part before connecting ?web=1 you may be promted for credentials.
