Hello,

I have two tables each one located in a different pbix.  Does someone know how to merge two tables located in different pbix files?

Thanks in advance for your help

Hi alepage,

It’s not supported to merge two tables directly from different pbix files in Power BI desktop. Please vote the idea https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/10982286-make-the-data-tables-in-... , to improve the Power BI Desktop.

To work around the issue, you can copy and paste queries from one pbix file to another following steps below.

1. Go into the Query Editor and select the queries you want to move to another file, right-click > Copy.

2. Then Paste into the same section of the destination file in Query Editor.

3. Then, you can merge the two tables.

Best Regards,

Amy
