Hi,
I am new to Power BI.
And I am developing a dashboard by connecting to an excel file, however I have made lots of measures, calculated tables and calculated columns on the data model. But at some point in the future the source file needs to be refreshed with fresh sales data for the previous month, and I am not sure if the model that I have made will still hold with this new data. Can someone please explain how to resolve this issue or point to some literature?
Thanks.

You mean, when your data for the last month is updated, do you still want the report to show the previous month's data before the update?
