Hi,
I have built a PBI file that I saved on a shared disk accessible to my colleagues.
I can see that when someone has opened the PBI file, I can also open it, and not in "view" mode like in Excel even though I am not the first one to have opened it. That means, we can be several users editing the PBI at the same time. But this does not work like Google Sheets. From my understanding, the last person to save overwrites any previous saved modifications made by other users.
Final question is, is there a way to lock the PBI file so that no other user can edit it while it's open on one's computer ?
Thanks

@Marion , You can not lock power bi desktop file.
You can save your file on one drive, you can create a local folder in sync with local drive.
We usually upload our file to one driver after changes and overwrite, it keeps versions of the file
