How to improve user experience by showing values in the legend instead of showing measures

parry2k_0-1643812072848.png

In this new video, we will explore how we can improve user experience by showing values on the legends rather than showing measure names when we are using multiple measures in the visual. Assume we are comparing current year sales with previous year sales and instead of showing "This Year" and "Prev Year" in the legends, we will show actual years. If the year 2021 is selected, in legends on the visual we will show the year 2021 vs the year 2020 and so forth so on.

Hi, @parry2k

This is because the names of the metric values are fixed and cannot be changed by the choice of slicer.

Unfortunately, this is by design. Power BI is now unable to achieve what you need . You can submit an idea for it at https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums and wait for users with the same needs as you to vote for you to help make it happen as soon as possible.

Best Regards,
