We're in the process of migrating our data which has resulted in some new reports being created. We have an existing report, which is using DirectQuery to connect to multiple other reports, which are now being re-created, but we're struggling to identify which tables come from which specific report.
Transform data does not show DirectQuery connections, and Data source settings only shows that we are connected to other semantic mdoel, but not which reports we have to replace.
Is there a way to do this, other than to just delete the current reports one-by-one, the ones built on old data, and see what breaks?

To find out which semantic model a DirectQuery table is coming from in Power BI, open the report using Tabular Editor or DAX Studio. These tools will show the DataSource for each table, helping you identify the exact dataset. You can also check the Lineage View in Power BI Service to see which datasets are connected to your report, though it won't show table-level details. “Transform Data” and “Data Source Settings” won’t help for DirectQuery models, as they don’t display this information.
Hi @SevsBo ,
Thank you for the prompt response @BhavinVyas3003 !
As BhavinVyas3003 suggested, you may use tools like Tabular Editor or DAX Studio. These will let you see the data sources for each table. Another option is the Lineage View in Power BI Service, which shows you how your datasets and reports are connected, although it will not show the details at the table level.
Refer the screenshot for the lineage view:
I hope this resolve your query. If so,consider accepting it as solution.
