I have a excel sheet loaded into power BI. I want to have a visulization in the report tab in such a way that I can display some specific columns from my actual table and also can edit values in the visulization which will also auto update in my actual database. How to look forward to this problem?

@red_arrowhead Power bi accepts the data from datasource kind of "read only" and use the data for anlysis there is no way if you update or edit any rows in power bi table it will edit the database at all

Appreciate your Kudos, Press the thumbs up button!!👍
To do this you would need to use PowerApps (to do the write back to your source) and use the PowerApps visual in Power BI.

Pat

@Anonymous Thanks a lot for your reply. So, there is no way at all possible for this? My main goal was to get an override for my data, if any manual value is required it should be inputted right away from the visulization tab which can update into the actual table. I want to have an user input tab on the visulization. Is it possible by any means?

@mahoneypat Thanks for your reply. I am new to this environment. I linked it with power apps in Power BI, but how can I proceed with creating an app to take user input. Can you let me know?
