How to handle the big data in Power BI?

Hi

I am having data in MY SQL which comes from a Wearable device. MySQL is hosted on a private cloud and the data size is > 5 Million records.

Power BI is very slow in handling the above data. I need your guidance to overcome this problem? Data will keep on increasing every day. Can anyone please advise me of the following?

1) Is there any other way available?

2) Can we use Azure? If so what components are to be used?

3) I am building a live dashboard so need an efficient solution to overcome this issue.

Please advise

How do you have your data model? Million records shouldn't be an issue at all in Power BI.

You want to make sure to model your data with star schema/dimensional model.

@YukiK I am not able to build the data model in the Power BI as its very slow when I import the data into Power BI.
